1. First United Methodist Church in Lubbock

The First United Methodist Church is also called the ‘Cathedral of the West’ for its absolute attractiveness of stained glasses, English style, and the gothic architecture of its sanctuary. 

The rose window in this church measures around 26 and a half feet in diameter. It’s the world’s fourth-largest stained glass installation. This window, often called ‘Window of Creature,’ has 16 circles around one large circle’s border, featuring God in the middle. The 16 circles represent Biblical characters and Methodist leaders. 


2. Rosenberg Library in Galveston

One of the oldest public libraries in Texas, Rosenberg is home to a historical collection of artistic and cultural artifacts. The stained glass of the skylight window depicts extraordinary scenery in the library. 


3. Chapel of Thanks-Giving in Dallas

This church’s spiral-shaped window called the ‘Glory Window’ is the world’s largest horizontally mounted stained glass installation. 

The stained glass window in this spiral chapel features bright colors as the spiral reaches its top, becoming more vibrant at the center. 


4. The Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in Houston

The cathedral’s east, west, and front sides are made of stained glass. These windows have lighting fixtures and dark blue, red, violet, and bright yellow glass mosaics. 

The stained glass features images of over 60 famous Biblical stories. 


5. St. Mary’s Catholic Church in San Antonio

St. Mary Catholic Church’s filled with beautiful monochromatic stained glass to display biblical stories perfectly.

Decorative and painted panels are also installed at the side of altars. Moreover, the dome of this church also features a vast Marian symbol of Mystical Rose in stained glass.
